Introduction
Welcome to Allenby House, we hope your stay with us will be an enjoyable one. Our Resident Supervisor will be happy to show you around and answer any questions you may have.
Your room is fully furnished complete with bed linen and heating facilities and the bathrooms are located at the end of each hallway.
Allenby house has a warm and friendly atmosphere and the lounge room is complete with both T.V. and video facilities. Vending machines for drinks and snacks are in the hallway next to the lounge room and a pay phone for student's convenience is just outside the Supervisors Office.
Should you wish to prepare lunch or an evening meal for yourself, then a fully equipped kitchen is also located on the ground floor next to the dining room.
The laundry is located at the rear or the building and has coin operated washing machines and dryers, just ask the Supervisor if you require change for these machines.
There is a 5 minute walk to Glenferrie Railway Station which is at the rear of Swinburne University and trains take approximately 10 minutes to reach the city centre. The Supervisor has a train timetable if you need one.
